Prior to your treatment, your skin color and hair thickness will be examined to determine the appropriate laser settings. A physician will perform a “skin test” at various laser energy levels on your skin during your complimentary consultation. This will determine the level of energy that is best for you, as well as a guide for nurses to use during your laser treatment sessions.
